Join the New Kerepehi Drum Corps!

The Kerepehi Brass Band is proud to announce the formation of a new Drum Corps and invites individuals of all ages and skill levels to take part.

Weekly lessons will be held during the school term on Thursdays from 6:30 PM to 8 PM at the Kerepehi Brass Band Hall, located at 14 Matai Street, Kerepehi.

DRUM LESSONS

6:00–6:30pm – Beginners with Janine

• Learn the basics from scratch
• Fun, friendly and supportive

6:30–7:00pm – All drummers together

• One big group for maximum impact

Lessons are open to anyone who plays, or wishes to learn how to play snare drums. Each session costs $5.

There is also an annual stationery fee of $15 to cover printed materials.

To begin lessons, participants will need to bring:

• A Remo 6″ practice pad ($34.00 each)
• A pair of Vater 2B drumsticks ($24.00 per pair)

You are welcome to purchase these items yourself, or we can order them on your behalf.

The group is preparing for performances in halftime shows, parades, and community events later this year!
